Francois Lewis is a strong, physical presence and entering his second professional season after spending his first year with Club Trouville Montevideo (Uruguay).

 

Before going Pro, Francois had a successful collegiate career that saw him start at Florida A&M and ended at Presbyterian with a stop at Central Florida Community College in between. Francois started a total of 69 games throughout his career, 49 of those coming at Presbyterian over a two-year stretch.

 

Francois is a strong, physical player with athleticism that allows him to play inside and outside. He can stretch the floor with his shooting, showcased by his 40.3% three-point shooting in his two years at Presbyterian. Francois also has the ability to play in the post and can score over both shoulders. He showed his effectiveness and efficiency during his year in Uruguay by posting a 69.7% two-point field goal percentage while averaging double digit points. Defensively, Francois can guard both forward positions, using his athleticism on the wing and strength to guard in the post.

 

While at Central Florida, Francois helped lead the Patriots to a second-place regular season finish in the Mid-Florida Conference while landing himself on the Mid-Florida Conference 1st Team. Francois saw this same sort of recognition while playing at Presbyterian, being named an All-Big South Conference Honorable Mention and winning one player of the week award (12/3/2018).

 

Francois was born and raised in Orlando, Florida by his parents Francis and Harriet Lewis. Francois attended Edgewater High School in Orlando and as a Senior, he led his team to metro, conference and division championships while also being named First Team All-Metro and Metro West Player of the Year. Francois graduated from Presbyterian in 2019 with a degree in Business Administration.
