Jeff Pollard is a rookie big man out of Washington State University and is starting his playing career in Argentina for Club Atlético Peñarol in the Liga Nacional de Básquet, the top level of the Argentine league system.

 

At 6’9”, 240lbs, Jeff can effectively play both in the post and on the wing. Jeff started 52 out of his final 59 games in Pullman and was also named one of two team captains during his Senior year. In his senior season, Jeff scored in double-figures 12 times and nearly doubled his points per game average from the previous season. He also had the second highest effective field goal percentage on the team at 55.4%.

Originally from Bountiful, Utah, Jeff was raised by his parents, Neal and Greta Pollard. Jeff has two brothers (one older and one younger) and a younger sister. One of his brothers, Nate, plays basketball at Chaminade in Honolulu, Hawaii. Jeff graduated from Bountiful High School in 2015 where he earned three letters and won two state championships in his junior and senior years.

 

Jeff graduated from Washington State in three years with a degree in Business in 2019 and earned his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) during his fourth year, graduating in 2020. He was named to the inaugural Pac-12 Winter Academic Honor Roll while completing his MBA.
