Jimmy King, a 6’4” Guard from the University of Indianapolis is a rising rookie looking to bring his scoring and playmaking skills to the next level.
During his final three collegiate years, Jimmy started 86 games and averaged double digit scoring in each of those three seasons to go along with 4+ assists, 3+ defensive rebounds and 1+ steal. Jimmy posted his best season during his Senior year where he averaged 13.3 points, 6.6 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game and led the Greyhounds to a 24-6 overall record and a third-place finish in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) where they went 15-5. Jimmy was recognized for his efforts by the Great Lakes Valley Conference during his final three years at Indianapolis, being named to the All-GLVC second team in 2017 and All-GLVC first team in both 2018 2020. Jimmy was also named as NABC DII All Star during his final year.
Going to school and playing in his hometown of Indianapolis gave Jimmy the chance to play his home games in front of his parents, Jim and Dawn as well as his two sisters, Karsey and Kenzi. He earned three letters and set 12 school records at nearby Roncalli High School in Indianapolis. He left High School as the second leading scorer in school history with 1,012 career points, 536 of those being scored during his Senior year. He was tabbed as first team All-Marion county and was also named Large School (3A&4A) All-State. He was invited to play in four All-Star games, including the famous Hickory Husker All-Star Game. Jimmy was nominated for Academic All-State for Senior year.
While at the University of Indianapolis, Jimmy studied Business Administration and Management.
