Justin scored double digits and also added 5+ rebounds in 15 games this past season. He has a great impact on the offensive end without the ball as well. In his two seasons with the Oklahoma City Blue, Justin showcased his ability to stretch the floor, hitting 148 total shots from long distance.
After spending his first two collegiate seasons at Shawnee Community College, Justin transferred to the University of Florida to play in the Southeastern Conference. He solidified himself as a full-time starter during his Senior year and was a key part of the Gators success, leading the team in three-point shooting at a 39.8% clip. His impact was key in the Gators' run to the Elite Eight in 2017, averaging 10.5 points and 7.0 rebounds in the NCAA Tournament including grabbing 10 rebounds in the Sweet 16 Win against favored Virginia at Madison Square Garden.
Defensively, Justin can defend multiple positions. He has great footwork, athleticism and a relentless energy that causes fits for opponents. While at Florida, he spent most of his time defending the opposing teams’ best player, which included a matchup against former Number 1 Overall Pick in the 2016 NBA Draft in Ben Simmons. In a 2016 showdown, Justin forced Simmons into eight turnovers in the second half, which included a pair of charging fouls drawn by Justin.
Justin won multiple awards while playing at Shawnee, including being named NJCAA D1 All-America Honorable Mention in 2014 and 2015 and the NJCAA D1 All-Region XXIV Team. This past season in Germany, Justin was named a Eurobasket.com All-German 2 - Bundesliga Pro A Honorable Mention.
